Doris Ferrán is an internationally trained violinist, violist, vocalist, educator, and founder of Zeblyn Music. With a lifetime dedicated to music and more than two decades of study, performance, and teaching experience, she brings to her students a rare combination of artistic excellence, international training, and genuine passion for education.

Her musical journey began at the age of six at the prestigious Luis Casas Romero School of Music in Camagüey, Cuba. From an early age, she demonstrated a deep love for music and a commitment to excellence that would shape the course of her life.

She later continued her professional studies at the renowned Amadeo Roldán Conservatory in Havana before moving to Italy at the age of eighteen to pursue advanced musical training at the Istituto Musicale Pietro Mascagni in Livorno.

Her dedication and talent earned her a scholarship to the prestigious Orchestra Giovanile Italiana (Italian Youth Orchestra), where she studied under the guidance of the legendary Maestro Piero Farulli, one of Europe's most influential music educators and founder of the world-renowned Scuola di Musica di Fiesole.

Following more than fifteen years of intensive musical training, Doris continued her artistic and professional development through advanced studies and scholarship opportunities with distinguished institutions including the renowned Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Italy and the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg in Germany.

Throughout her journey, Doris had the privilege of studying with exceptional mentors whose teachings continue to inspire her philosophy as both a musician and educator.

Maestro Sidney Campbell taught her the value of silent care, unwavering dedication, discipline, and mentorship. His influence extended far beyond music, demonstrating the importance of nurturing young artists with both excellence and compassion.

Maestro Rafael Cutiño, Principal Viola of the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba, taught her to develop a profound connection with her instrument and to approach music with sensitivity, authenticity, and emotional depth.

Maestro Riccardo Masi, Principal Viola of the Orchestra della Toscana, instilled in her the values of rigor, precision, artistic excellence, and the pursuit of perfection through disciplined work and commitment.

As a performer, Doris has appeared with respected orchestras and ensembles throughout Europe, including performances in Italy, Germany, France, Austria, Spain, and other countries. She has collaborated with internationally recognized conductors and musicians and has performed in prestigious concert halls and festivals across Europe.

Among her many artistic experiences, she has performed with orchestras in Florence, Massa Carrara, and Torre del Lago Puccini, participating in important productions and musical events that enriched her artistic vision and professional growth.

Today, Doris continues to perform professionally as a violinist, violist, and vocalist. She currently serves as Concertmaster (First Violin) of the Jazz Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra under the artistic leadership of renowned Puerto Rican saxophonist Jazz Hamilton. Her active performing career allows her students to learn from a musician who continues to perform at a professional level while remaining deeply committed to music education.

After years of studying, performing, and teaching throughout Europe, Doris chose to make Orlando, Florida her home. It was there that she founded Zeblyn Music with a vision that extends far beyond music lessons.

She envisioned a place where students could develop confidence, discipline, creativity, perseverance, and self-expression through the transformative power of music.

At Zeblyn Music, every lesson is designed to inspire growth not only as a musician but also as an individual. Students are encouraged to explore their creativity, develop strong technical foundations, build confidence, and discover the joy of artistic expression in a supportive and nurturing environment.
